​Emily is a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) and a graduate of Morehead State University. Her special interests include shelter medicine and teaching. She's passionate about giving  animals compassionate, high-quality care and enjoys mentoring others in the field. She also enjoys building relationships with clients. When she's not at work, she enjoys hiking and camping with her family, both humans and pets.

Stephanie is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a graduate of Morehead State University. Her passions include client communication, patient care, and shelter medicine. Stephanie has 3 dogs and 4 cats. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering her time to help shelter animals. 

Meet Alaina! She has been working in veterinary medicine since 2019 and is a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She has always had a soft spot for pit bulls and is a proud pit bull mom to her dog, Shiloh. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is assisting with exploratory surgeries. When she is not caring for your pets, she is busy working towards her RN in nursing school. She is looking forward to getting to know you and your pets! 

Belle is one of our Veterinary Assistants here at Midland Trail Animal Hospital. She is currently studying Biological Sciences at Marshall University and is the current president of Marshall’s Pre-Vet club! She enjoys her free time reading, dancing, and loving on her pets. She has a cat named Denver and a pup named Princess. She can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!

As a Veterinary Assistant, I have a genuine love for animals and find so much joy in helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. In my previous role at MedVet, I developed a strong interest in advanced diagnostic imaging and fell in love with MRI, CT scans, and radiographs. I have a particular soft spot for senior dogs and have one of my own at home, so I understand how special the bond with an older pet can be. I’m also a proud rabbit owner, which has given me an appreciation for the unique needs and personalities of every type of companion animal. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and going on adventures. I’m passionate about providing compassionate care to both pets and their families and feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a team dedicated to helping animals live happy, healthy lives.

Growing up in Huntington, West Virginia, I developed a deep appreciation for both my community and the animals that have always been an important part of my life. That passion inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, where I have proudly worked for the past seven years.

I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Mountwest Community & Technical College, an achievement that represents years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. 

I am also fortunate to share both my life and career with my husband, Chris Stevens, RVT, BS, who works alongside me. Together, we share our home with our daughter, eight dogs and five cats. 

When we are not working, we enjoy spending time together as a family, catching up on our shows and movies.

Taylor is a proud 2021 Marshall University alumna. She recently stepped away from her career as a medical assistant to pursue her passion for helping to take care of animals. She's a proud fur mom to Toby, her dog, and her two cats, Blaze and Patrick. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time crafting, exploring the outdoors, and making memories with her pets. 

Nicole has been a Client Service Representative (CSR) for 10 years. She has a big heart for animals, especially cats and ferrets which are her favorites. Nicole is a proud pet mom to 9 cats and 5 ferrets! In her spare time, she enjoys reading, relaxing at home, and spending time with her beloved animals.

Becca is one of the client service representatives at Midland Trail Animal Hospital. In her free time you’ll often find her with a cup of coffee in her hand. She enjoys gardening, nature walks,and spending time with her family.  Of course she also loves animals, with  three cats and three dogs at home. She is new to Barboursville, and is excited to see what the area has to offer.

Kylie M. is one of the client service representatives at Midland Trail Animal Hospital. She enjoys crocheting, reading, painting, and is also going to school to be a Veterinary Technician to continue to do what she loves! She has a basset hound named Maeve and an orange cat named Pickle. She is a lover of all animals (but especially hounds!).

This is Kylie, she is one of the Client Service Representatives at Midland Trail Animal Hospital. She has several years of experience in the animal care industry. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, and her pets. 

She has a corgi named Stu, two cats named Totoro and Blair, a bearded dragon named Drekki, and an albino Pac-Man frog named Wasabi. She is a lover of all creatures!
